Greens Farms Garden Club has successfully completed our fifth season of our Growing for Good initiative, a project that is impactful to our surrounding communities.  Growing for Good Community Service project aims to combat food insecurity by growing fresh, healthy produce for those living right here in and around our community.

Prospect Gardens, in Westport, CT. provides 1500 square feet of stone-tiereed vegetable garden.  Wakeman Town Farm has another plot of earth we tend.  Together these beds have allowed up to grow 1345 pounds of fresh organic produce delivered to Mercy Learning Center, in Bridgeport and Homes with Home Gillespie Center,  in Westport this season.

You'll be able to read all about it in the Connecticut Gardener Magazine. Winter 2025- 26 Issue.

Our hope is that together, we can help create a more sustainable, healthier future for everyone in our area.
